The Daimler Sovereign 420 Saloon
(1966-1969)

The Daimler 420 and it’s Jaguar counter part was basically an interim model between the ‘S’ type and the XJ6. It featured the 4.2 engine and rear suspension of the ‘E’ type Jaguar with the front end styling of the Mark 10 Jaguar.
The Daimler version was the top of the range specification.
The last Jaguar/ Daimler to have a separate starter button!
