Blokes Shopping Day and Christmas Classic Car Meet

We have had as many as 70 vehicles in previous years if the weather has been good!! Most shops will be open, plus market stalls. Plenty of places open for refreshments.

Have you left your shopping until the last minute, or perhaps not even started it yet? Then Sir (because you are probably a man) don’t fret as the Melton Elves are coming to Melton town centre !
Christmas is meant to be exciting so leaving your shopping to the last minute surely only makes you much more Christmassy. Santa doesn’t deliver his presents in advance of Christmas Eve for an easier life does he !
So to help make your Christmassy shopping experience even more enjoyable the Melton Town Centre Managers have dedicated a day to take the stress out of your shopping.
Head to Melton Mowbray’s Market Place on Sunday 22nd and look for the two elves - surrounded with an array of gift tags, ribbons and gift paper to suit all tastes. Leave your gifts with the elves and they will send you packing with vouchers for coffee or a beer or two so whilst you relax in the warm surroundings of The Cutting Room pub or the friendly More Coffee Shop. Upon your return collect all your purchases, professionally wrapped and labelled, to find their rightful place under your Christmas Tree.
